There is no greater pleasure than receiving recognition for your work. Whether it’s a thank you note from a client or an Oscar from the Academy. Being appreciated is a wonderful feeling. Over the years Hi-Design has had the privilege of being recognized for several projects with the industry’s most prestigious awards - “The Georgie Awards® was established in 1992 by a group of industry professionals who decided to start a housing awards program, not for economic benefit, but to provide value to the residential construction industry and communities throughout British Columbia.”
Every year more and more builders, developers, designers and renovators show off their greatest achievements in the hopes of taking home gold. Over the years Hi-Design has had the privilege of working with several talented designers and in conjunction with them, has won several awards including a 2011 Georgie Award for “best kitchen renovation over $100,000.00.” Working in association with Tom Bakker Design, we were short listed from dozens of applications from various industry professionals.

& Sarah Gallop Design
Again in 2022 Hi-Design had the pleasure to work along side Clay Construction and Sarah Gallop Designs on a project in Artichoke Acres in Langley BC. This Project Won the 2022 Georgie Award for the Best Single-Family Kitchen up to $200k.
To Be recognized for your outstanding work and your achievements is the a very rewarding experience, and to do it along side professionals in the field who have the same high standards and amazing work ethic and values was not only a privilege but a pleasure!
The Georgie Awards recognize outstanding achievements in B.C.’s residential construction, renovation, design, development and marketing excellence. This award is recognized both provincially and nationally and has become the industry’s stamp of quality. Industry insiders and consumers also identify with the Georgie Awards sign when they inspect newly built homes and renovations, for the authentication of the award sets apart high-quality builders, designers and kitchen manufactures alike.
